Rich Meade returns to Prime Policy Group as Vice Chairman
Republican Budget and Healthcare expert rejoins firm after serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Credit Union National Association
Washington, DC: Prime Policy Group is pleased to announce that Rich Meade has rejoined the firm as Vice Chairman, where he will help oversee the firm’s overall strategic growth and manage the healthcare practice. Rich returns to Prime after serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff at Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
Rich brings more than 25 years of legislative, regulatory, political and public relations strategy expertise to work for Washington’s premier bipartisan government relations and consulting firm. He spent more than 14 years in senior positions on Capitol Hill, including Chief of Staff for the House Budget Committee, where he was the Committee’s principal liaison to House and Senate leadership and the Executive Branch. Meade is known as one of the leading experts in the Budget Act including the complex budget reconciliation process.

During his previous tenure at Prime Policy Group, Rich helped navigate complex regulatory and legislative landscapes to achieve favorable public policy outcomes for the firm’s clients, including transitioning to a new Medicare payment and quality system.
Since leaving Capitol Hill, Rich has served as an informal advisor to numerous Republican committee chairs, Members serving in the House Republican Leadership, and candidates for federal and statewide offices.
In addition to his leadership role at Prime Policy Group, Rich will direct the Healthcare Practice and manage a variety of issues and clients in other policy areas.
