Chester DiBari, a Senior Associate at Prime Policy Group, serves on the travel/tourism and transportation practice areas. In this capacity, he serves the firm’s clients on the implementation of the Travel Promotion Act and monitoring congressional hearings.

In addition to following relevant commission and federal agency action, such as the newly created Brand USA, Chester also represents clients during meetings with congressional staff and administration officials.

Chester works most closely with the following firm clients: Dunkin Brands, Loews Corporation, the International Franchise Association, the National Restaurant Association, National School Transportation Association, United Motor Coach Association, North Carolina Department of Transportation and the U.S. Travel Association.

He provides strategic advice to help companies and trade associations effectively navigate the policy making process in Washington, DC.  Chester also co-chaired an international trade working group for Dunkin Brands, which analyzed foreign trade and regulatory action in 20 targeted countries and regions from 2010-2013.

Prior to joining the firm in May 2010, Chester served on the government relations staff of a national trade association. In that role, he was responsible for coordinating the association’s annual advocacy summit on Capitol Hill and garnering support for the association’s legislative agenda. Also, Chester served on the legislative staff of Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) working on health care and social policy issues. In that capacity he performed legislative research and outreach to constituents. He has also acquired local and national political campaign experience.

Originally from Rome, New York, Chester studied at Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Rome, Italy and graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He and his wife, Emily, reside in Washington, DC with their two sons.
